Khufu the baboon lives in Brooklyn House, the Twenty-first Nome of the House of Life. He wears his favorite Lakers jersey over his golden fur; unfortunately, it doesn’t quite cover his multihued rump. He will only eat foods that end in o, such as Cheerios, Doritos, and Jell-O, so it’s not surprising that his favorite Brooklyn House magician is Cleo from Rio. Like all his kind, Khufu is fond of Thoth, who counts baboons among his sacred animals. Khufu has some minor magical abilities, including healing and a nice outside jump shot.
