In one universe, Gladis is a superstitious girl who believes that Sal’s unexplainable tricks make him a brujo, a sorcerer who practices black magic. In another universe, Gladis has a better sense of humor—as well as a much thicker Cuban accent. It’s a good thing both Gladises have the same class schedule in their respective worlds, because with Sal Vidón around, you never know who’s going to spend the day in which part of the multiverse.
